Innocent Lunga aka ‘Innovative Grand’ is a Bulawayo born gospel musician who is a gifted instrumentalist, vocalist and composer.

He recently released an afro-pop single entitled Sihamba neQhawe on the 28th of October 2020. The song is not only a definite dance along to tune, but carries a powerful message of encouragement with it. It was produced at Rhythm unlimited studios, mixed and mastered by Tafadzwa Chingono.
Innovative started out as a recording artist in May 2014 when he released his first single entitled Kholwa kuJesu. This was followed by the release of the full 7 track album titled Rhythms of Hope in July 2015, which features tracks such as ‘Thokoza’, ‘With our voices’ and ‘Faith always works.’

His musical journey has been a long one, spanning over 19 years. He started out in the church as a drummer in 2001 and has progressed to proficiently playing various music instruments, composing and arranging music. In his own words, he chose gospel music as he believes God called him to express himself through singing His Word to those without hope.

Innovative is pursuing his further Music studies in Texas USA where he is currently based.
